Midnight Security & Communications, now in its 20th year of business, is trading under a new name - Midnight Integrated Systems - effective from January 2007. Authomeation, the specialist division of Midnight will now also trade as Midnight Integrated Systems.

The company registration and VAT numbers remain the same.

The main reasons for the change are firstly the activities of Midnight and authomeation overlap significantly in the residential market, i.e. security and home automation/home entertainment are often required as part of the same contract/project. Secondly, with Midnight providing the IT Networks/IP Security Systems, for example in providing turnkey solutions for schools (Kent Schools PFI), a broadening of the company's identity was necessary. Websites: www.midnightsecurity.com and www.authomeation.com and all associated e-mail addresses will remain for the time-being. The new website www.midnightis.com will be developed to take over during the next few months.
